Anthony (Tony) Constable is a well known figure in government contracting circles. His career began in the UK in the IT field in 1964 from whence he emigrated to the United States in 1968. He spent the next 7 years eclectically dabbling in computer performance measurement, telecommunications, and developing one of the early, and successful, third-party packaged application software programs. Since 1975, when Tony founded CAI/SISCo, the firm has quietly assisted domestic and international clients win more than 1,200 major competitions in the aerospace, military, telecommunications, and IT fields. These opportunities, which have an aggregate value in excess of $1T, have involved all branches of government and most technologies.Tony is also an educator and author. He devised CAI/SISCo's highly acclaimed Price To Win (PTW) and other business development training seminars and presents them regularly. He has written scores of articles and white papers (see the Commentaries section of this website) and is presently engaged in writing a scholarly treatise on Federal business development and pricing to win (PTW) and a humorous novel with the shenanigans of government business development as its backdrop. For fun and relaxation he plays trumpet with his septet, Mainstream Jazz. He also founded and played lead for years with the Star Spangled Big Band, a Basie-style orchestra out of Frederick, Maryland. Recently, in support of Frederick's Jazz History Month, he devised and delivered a series of lectures on the evolution of jazz music covering the traditional, mainstream and modern forms.
